I’m Monica, a mid-twenty-something dancing-adventuring-community driven-freelancing-social media enthusiast-geek with a BA, and an MA. In 2010 I lived in 3 different countries: France, USA, & England. I live for finding connections and connecting… people, ideas, things; it’s a constant battle of big picture versus the details.

oh, and I climb things.

I mostly write about dance, photography, travel & the digital world, though from time to time posts about kitchen adventures and escapades find their way in. I used to write about school, but I think I’m done with that for the time being – but not done with learning, never with that. This blog has seen me most of the way through two degrees and three countries. It’s evolved a lot since its first entry back on the 25th March, 2008 and so have I. Though I’ll still stand by my words “Getting a job and ‘being an adult’ is this crazy notion that doesn’t quite work.” I’m creative and don’t fit into society’s standards, nor do I want to pretend to. So I’m using what I have and making this life work. I suppose I write a lot about that, too.
